I didn't think about this when I ordered these paints, but can WEM Colourcoats be thinned with Model Master or Testors thinners?

In case I don't stop by again, may you all have a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday season.

Really? Ok, I'll pick up some art thinner the next time I'm at Hobby Lobby.

Thanks for the info!

In that case, I have some of that Appalachian distilled stuff that will thin it rather well...or strip it off.

I hear it cures lame horses too.

In all seriousness now, Model Master thinners or Testors will not work as well? The reason I ask is that I live in somewhat a remote area and the "local" Hobby Lobby is fair haul from here. The other thinners are far easier for me to obtain.

I hear what your saying, my friend...in all honesty, I always stick to manufacturer recommendations, concerning chemicals, solvents, and fluids, and I have never tried anything but...have you tried asking John Snyder directly in an e-mail, Steve? He does visit regularly, but you may have a greater success with a direct (and then let us know!).....

We have a lot of customers who report very good results using Model Master Airbrush Thinner.

I usually go to Home Depot to get my stuff. Their paint thinner works quite well with thinning Model Masters and I get a quart for what a pint costs.

I use - and like - lacquer thinner to thin my colorcoats.
