You had some bad luck, man! How could the doc have missed a ruptured lung in the first inspections after the accident?
Get better soon. It's a pitty you have to check out form the contest, but you should do as the doctor ordered.

to staff:
How about awarding a Purple Heart?

Hi Bruce!

Listing to port, but still afloat.........

As far as I'm concerned, you're still in the contest, mate, it ain't over 'til it's over....just continue to heal and when it's time, start building/posting updates again...remember, you're only judged by the amount/quality of your progress in each build session, and there are a few entrants besides yourself who have missed a few judging sessions...so keep the steam building!

Cheers,
~Gunny

hello Mark,
i am still upright, with the bilge pumps are running full blast.thank you for letting me stay with the build. but i wish you would let me offer prizes for the Staff build.
with all the staff does to keep MSW running,it cuts into your bench time(and answearing my wierd and dumb questions does not help) and Miss Mary is supporting me in this.
so here is what we want to offer for the prizes for the Staff Build:
by votes best build a $50 gift certificate of the online store of your choice.
for the rest of the builds each a $25 gift certificates each for a online store of your choice.
Miss Mary and I feel very strongly about doing this,i hope you will say yes to this.
cheers,
Bruce

Hi Bruce,

Glad you're back! I can't view the pictures, however. is it just me or is there a problem?

hello Chris,
sometimes the real world interferes with our modeling.and some of us will let our friends know what is happening with our lives.so for every post about a build, there is a post about our real lives IE:got a new job,got married, new baby, etc.we share life's happiness and sorrows with our on-line friends.and some moels do get built around all the personal stuff.
cheers,
Bruce

hello Kenny,
thanks for your kind words.i did screw up,i put the main deck together before i did the turret's.so instead of the turret's being able to turn,i have to glue them on.i cannot get the cap on the bottom of the turret's.there is no room to get them in. .
my fault i jumped ahead of the instructions, and did not think about what i was doing.
this is a good learning experience, think before you glue
cheers,
Bruce

Unfortunately, Bruce has bowed out of the build due to some recent health problems...I'm going to lock his thread for the time being, if he feels that he would like to try to finish when he's feeling better, we can unlock the thread at that time.
