I am finally set up and working again. The Adm Scheer has been successfully launched and his superstructure is coming along.

Hi all,

I'm afraid that I will not make the deadline for this campaign! I'm going for a long vacation, and my (ship-)building pace is almost down to zero! I have found it most enjoyable to build ships, however! I think I'll do my ship modelling at our summer cottage in the Gothenburg archipelago from now on. The surrondings provides perfect inspiration! I will finish the Kirov some day!

Geez, I'm always sliding in under the wire with campaigns. Here's my entry, just finished about an hour ago: Hasegawa's 1/700 full hull with PE version Nachi with the usual Fukuya barrels.

Note the previously discussed hull weld lines that I added using tape. As you can see, it adds interest to the hull and the tape stays where it is. Unfortunately, I think this project has killed the idea of me getting anything done on the Hiryu this month, but ah well.

I'll get a feature written up on this build after I get some more pressing items done.

A most excellent looking Nachi there Dade.

I will have to try that tape trick of yours one of these times.
