Thanks Joe I will do S 11 then. I was planning S 10 but the decals for that one are slightly marked.
I will do S 10 for the next one.
Just a small question on the flags you generously supplied they are not decals are they?
Or are they?
If they are not I assume I can cut them out, fold them onto themselves and glue them with say white glue.
Thought I would check prior to attacking them as they look top notch.
I am still playing around with the oil paints and had a go at this piece of ship board equipment.

Not a great image sorry.
Cheers

Hi Sean,
The eagles and badge are decals but the flags are paper. Just use the
fold over and white glue method and while still wet, add the required folds.
You may have to touch up the edges with some paint.
Have made my own for years, as most kits don't come with proper emblems.
Political correctness they say....

Joe

Finish wise I have tried to achieve a weathered canvas look.

Hello Sean, a very impressive build, it seems you can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear after all.

Hi Al
Thanks for that.
My goal has been to build OTTB and focus on improving and focussing on my ship finishing skills.

Very impressive build. She's coming along very nicely.

I have this one and the Revell 100 class in my stash. Is there any PE detail set currently available for the Airfix kit? I know that Griffon makes several for the 100 class but haven't seen any for this one. Again, great job.
Too little time, too many models to build..........

Hi Ernie
Thanks for the kind words.
As far as I am aware there is no PE set for this kitset much as I would love there to be one.
This kit was issued by Airfix in approx 1975 and has been pretty much overlooked by the aftermarket manufacturers.

Hi Sean,
when you pointed me here to your "current" build I didn't think the last update would be a year old!

But thanks, your log will be a great help.
Like yourself, planning on doing OOTB as much as possible. I think it'll be a trial run in patience before commencing my Flower class.... But I have so always wanted an E-boat: flaws and all they can be made look great as you have shown!

Thanks Sean.
Yip this build has been rather "extended" 5 plus years and counting.
However as they say "watch this space" my friend.
