Sorry for the very late reply.. NICE WORK AS USUAL Mardis!
Guys I have a much bigger update and will do my best to get the pics together this month on all the "parts" ...
Anyways here's a "sample" of the decals I've been working on...these are tested on my client's BIG E hanger. The ones You get are different-Better!
I can really pull my hair out as the 1988 Hanger version is very different from the later ones..

Also a shot of the tie-downs on my client's deck. I already did the inscribing of those "circles"..you will just need to paint --- Done so very easily by a white marker pen (Yes it's including in the Kit).

Just a really quickie update... here's how the masters of the aircraft fuel tanks were made.. styrene rods filed down on both ends, cut in half and such..

There's A LOT of them to be included in the kit. Note that these are for the overhead fuel racks.
I'm still working on the other masters for the resin bits... A large update is coming once all's done..

Here's focus on the aircraft tie-downs. Note that this follows the dimensions based on Tamiya's flight deck's. Thus, all references I had, had to be indeed adjusted accordingly, so that the tie-downs were located and spaced within distances from the elevator openings, bulkheads and from the fire-doors.
I had initially marked out all the crossing lines and just before inscribing the tie-downs with my tool...realized that I had took reference from the wrong part of the ship instead on the center line!!!
So I had to redo all the decks' markings again!
As of now 95% of the confirmed tie-downs have been inscribed... That is A LOT for each deck!!!!
The other 5% will be confirmed once i complete testing some other parts and marking positions.
Inscribing each tie-down is made with a press and twist of a rod clamped in a hand drill...Very tiring!
I have actually 3 templates ~ for marking the positions of tie downs, reference of the actual size and shape of entire hanger deck , location of details on bulkheads, and the lastly for all ceiling illumination cut outs and further detailing.
...all of which I will slowly update in due time..
PS: More is to be accomplished for the remaining deck details :
~ Further lines will be scribed such as for the Fire Doors placement and this will enable you to have ease with painting of the metallic lanes.
~ Scribing of the parallel running lines along the deck.
~ Some holes will be drilled for insertion of resin and photoetch details.
Once everything is done..
~ the entire deck will be sanded smooth so that each tie down and all raised areas due to drilling will be flushed with the surface.
~ the entire deck will be given a Primer/Surfacer coat of grey with Tamiya or Mr Hobby spray cans.
The deck is made up of 3 pieces of sheet styrene, thus proper re-enforcing is necessary to keep them fused. Thus once the primer coat is done, I will glue down all the vertical support walls, this will ensure the deck is firm.
............The actual walls/bulkheads with the relevant details installed, will be supplied unassembled. You will need to glue the resin and photoetch details to these walls, paint them and glue them to the support walls yourself.........

Yup...I'm working my A$$ OFF!
Please note that from the 1st of August onwards, the pre-order price of the Kit will be $290. Sorry but I have to keep up with the SG/US $ rate.
Also, I have almost run out of the quantity of kits I can make for the first batch. So it'll be first come first reserved. Once they're filled, the next batch scratch builds will be some time around April 2012...if I'm still modelling then
