This project began to be in preparation it does mas of one year in a roast with friends in which I speak to him about the lack of a commercial kit of this type of submarine in scale 1/72. After an exhaustive search in Internet we come to the conclusion that had not realized any ¡!!! And the question was and for that not to try it ¿?? So I approach to trying to obtain the major quantity of information digital and written on them. With a few planes obtained of the book " Vom Original zum Modell and a few planes for models at carton I started being employed, correcting some little houses in this one I finalize and taking it to the claimed scale we begin this project that we will develop later

Good like presentation or to be entering the topic I they present a summary of excellent mas of these real submarines since for first you see had been achieved to construct a ship that was getting out of a jam itself better under the surface that above … ….. That to say or where to begin ¿? It would be necessary to move back in the history in the middle of 43 when the submarine war every day was untenable … .. the measures anti submarine and the air supremacy of the enemy on the Atlantic one they were almost absolute. The implementation of the Snorkel in the conventional units they were not stopping solving the topic and the encouraging projects of "Walter" and his system of turbines of Peroxide of Hydrogen (H2O2) could not have solved the problems of navigation and reliability as to help

A construction in series … … .asi that was a moment to construct some ship that was reverting this situation … .asi that based on the projects deduced of Walter or rather of the type the XVIII but with a hybrid system of Batteries / diesel engine … proves is a formidable submarinos the Type the XXIst that serious the second one in quantity of constructed " 119 units " finished behind the Type the VII. But of all of them only 2 had patrol of war without having victims in his short record ¡! If one of them pipe Or 2511 a meeting with an enemy convoy composed by the cruise Norfolk and the destroyers' escort … the curious of the meeting was that the U-2511 was on returning to Berguen to deliver his ship since Germany had come to terms … .but since of boys it wanted to simulate an assault to the powerful one Managing to unload fictitiously his 6 torpedoes against the English units and to move back from his minimal distance of 500m without being detected ¡!! Imagine the surprise of the allies to he reads the binnacle and the personal diary of the captain of corvette "Adalbert Schnee" ….. Returning to the principal thread … at this point Donitz's war there was drained constant of material and of sailors like that that obtained the approval of the immediate construction of the new submarines entrusted to revert the war in favor of Germany …. It was like that that I entrust him the construction of these new ships of a revolutionary way for the German shipyards … .basado in the construcciones of the American "Liverty", was decided to construct them for sections mas precisely in 8 sections and later one would add him Ninth that serious the candle this was reducing the times of construction and there were distributed those who haceres between the different executors minimizing the misadventures only man of work would take a time of aprox 330 000 hours when his predecessors class the IXth were going almost 500 000 hours.

This time serious reduced significantly Al-en enters construction in chain but equal it would not reach since the delays for the frequent mas bombardments one the shipyards and railroads every time were complicating mas his construction …..

It is like that that get up the construction of the Large chest " Valentin " gentle factory of assembled under the protection of several meters (7 meters) of I make concrete and steel which - daria the paragraph the whole article apart for the impressive of this Colossus of mas of 400 m of length!!! That day Al-de today continues being used for sports puerto of German war..

Las separa la o secciones irían Entering the lateral doors and they would follow his step along 13 stops in each of them arian the established works and it would follow the near one where it was waited by new operatives in charge of the near step until his end which already was put afloat where he would be finished by the works of adjustments and tests of watertightness to go out for the door that one sees in someone of the photos … … there was foreseen the construction of underground stores to have a stock permanent of sections protected from the bombardments to finish the war was almost finished in 95 % but being like that not salio not even the alone totally operative XXI.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Km1HhNa0Lh0

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZixqHraZRQw&feature=related

Here a plane of the sections previously mentioned this system also tape-worm the practice to the moment to repair ships damaged seriously changing only the section minimizing the tiempo in shipyard with the risks that this tape-worm

This of the sections is seen very often in the photos where they appear you depart from submarines dispersed as pieces in a chessboard … … … Also we can add that the system was mas that revolutionary but tape-worm his weak points since the delay was common of someone of these sections for the motives already Explained and in addition they were presenting minimal differences of a shipyard to other one so The photo had to be corrected to the moment to assemble

is very curious … .el in view of turned bell of the bottom is the Cruise Admiral Sheer Brother of "Graf Spee". Which was reached in an incursion of bombardment in the port of Kiel The previous day should land to a refugees' quota saved from the Russian invasion to Norway … … The Sheer permission of exhausting his grenades of artillery unloaded against the enemy to try to have time to the loading of the major quantity of possible refugees but the condition of his principal cannons was lamentable and they needed refill … .just Such operations were coordinated for these precise days …. Today in going he is in the same alone place that covered by tons of rubbles and with a beautiful beach of parking!!!!! .bueno I went away different you see … ajajajajjajajaja

Transport of different sections by means of the use of pontoons, above is seen since they are being raised the section of This prow it corresponds to a long shot of a type the XXI

General characteristics … it was displacing in dip 1.819 t, there had a length of 76,7 m sleeve of 8 m they were submerging to 270 m and I calculate his maximum in emergency in 330 m but his clocks of depth were going even them 400m it was known later that I criticize the point or "collapse" was 450 m this stops between seeing that really they did not know up to all that this new hull would support Really a submersible bunker managing to treble the thickness of alloy of the cuirass or lining of the clase the VII

Time of dip of 18 ones to 20 seconds almost the half of the normal thing for the predecessors 6 torpedo tubes of 533 mm max Loads 23 torpedoes or 17 torpedoes and 23 you mine Artillery ant air of 4 double cannons of 20 mm. (In a beginning designed with cannons of 30) Diesel engines "MAN" that after a few improvements it was possible to take almost 45 % mas of power coming to the 2.000 cv each one, I improve the system of admission to avoid or to minimize the problems on having sailed with sea punctured with the Schnórkel. and another significant improvement was the refrigeration forced by water which would do mas reliable and lasting the engines ¡! The only misadventure was that these engines were not capable of investing the draft like that that when it was navigated in reverse only it might do with the engines Electrical ¡! Which were fed by a great quantity of lead batteries that would go in his part mas low of the hull where it had been projected the tanks of the Peroxide of Hydrogen of "Walter"

And electrical engines to batteries, were developing 4.426 HP, which were imposing on him a maximum speed of 15,6 knots in surface and 16,8 knots plunged It was Achieving an autonomy of 15.500 miles to 10 knots in surface and from 365 miles to 5 knots plunged.

topics it is necessary to count the great quantity of damages or repairs or or modifications mas the contante I bombard the bases and the mined one of the testing grounds of the these submarines they would meet mentally handicapped managing to be superior to the 6 mese when the normal thing they were 180 days max … .. of there that alone 2 were entering patrols of war.. The rest them surprised the capitulation in full training and expiring (operation Rainbow) the majority I drill his units before the challenge being captured by the enemy others were destroyed in bombardments to the naval bases by effect of the minefields and the remaining few ones were distributed as booties of war Between the winners and a few mas they were sunk in the " Operation Deadlight "

These submarines type the XXI were submitted to all kinds of studies and tests by the privateers The Soviets of the class "Wiskey" as the American "Nautilus" they would go out of the XXI

Clase wiskey o Foxtrot Ruso

Clase Nautilus USA

In 1946 Ex-Or 2513 it takes on board the president Harry Truman being this the first president in decender to mas of 70 m of depth ¡! It seems that after a few hours in u - boot in way of tests and demonstrations the agent chief executive of the advances of these ships requisitioned to the Germans … .el would have president crushed and would go out with the relief of which the war was ending in time!!! " The Germans if they can construct submarines "

Nótese el emblema ¡! Jajjaja

Nowadays Or 2513 it rests to 70m of depth on the coasts of California USA closely together of another XXI Or 3008 But the Frenchmen "Daphne" and the English men "Explorer" also serious developments of the type the XXI though the Explorer also would be based in refloated class the XVII the XVIII "Walter"

Clase Daphne Francia

Clase Explorer Ingles

East is Or 1407 also with propulsion Walter … .esta photos is after his re-flotamiento, later the english men re were baptizing as "Meteorite" Up to the Japanese they projected his own version of the XXI during the WWII grace to the exchange of information between both countries the type was called "Sen Taka" or *71 after many tests it was dressed since I do not overcome the expectations for not having Daimler-Benz's motive diesel engines but step gave to his comparable XXI the I 201

One of the mas known and being the only one of the Tipo the XXI that nowadays is kept after being refloated re conditioned and turned by the "Bundesmarine" in oceanographic submarine of studies and you try torpedoes for many years being acquired later before being dressed, there surrendered to a restructuring similar possible mas to his conception of war and today it is the ship museum. " Wilhelm Bauer " .que shows himself in Bremerhaven, Germany. And that in this forum is a representation of this copy ex-U-2540

http://www.ipmsuruguay.com/foro/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=3349&sid=968fb33aeda93239597be4fe3aa8a009

Good I believe that hereabouts there would be a review of these copies … .. it would give for many mas but it is not the idea to bore of entry with so much information and in addition I would have to put to re to read very much material jejejejeje but for the interested parties I can recommend a few books and sites specialized in these topics … …

I apologize for the mistakes but my Englishman is very poor regards and we will continue....

Stage of planned, corrections, extended etc etc … ….. The Type the VII of behind is for inspiration and in addition to compare sizes and differences of one with regard to other one … .. but already they will see it also … …..

Later us one came the moment of plantillar.marcar, to draw, to cut, to sand to compare, to present … … .aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But the work has his rewards … …

And this way form is taking … … that beautiful lines!!

And in this one already we have an idea mas concrete of his lines and of size on having compared with his companion of hunt ¡! Jajaja
