Agree with many on this thread - All 1/350 please;

1. LSD's (Whidbey, Harpers Ferry Class)
2. LPD's (Austin Class)
3. AOE's (Sacremento - Trumpter please scale up the 1/700)
4. CA (Baltimore Class)
5. CL (Cleveland Class - thought we'd get offshoot of CVL)
6. CA (Pensacola Class)
7. CA (Northhampton Class)
8. CV-6 (1944 fit - or good upgrade kit with gun tubs)

I'd love to see a WWI Wickes class destroyer and a WWII Buckley class destroyer escort in 1/144 scale

I agree 100%, that would be great ! It's time to look to new subjects and to finish the endless list of IXC, VII A,B,C,C41 (no less than 4 manufacturers have these in the 1/350 range - almost identical !) - As a "patriotic" suggestion, I would like to add some italian boats to the wishlist...they played their role gallantly and were also quite beautiful.

Greetings,

Giusto

in 1/35.
Dog boat
63" whale back MTB
63" rescue launch.
Perkasa (also the danish build version)

A 1/200 Hood would end up on my shelves
as would
1/350 Ark Royal

Who will be the first to bring out flight deck sections of an Aircraft carrier in 1/48. Do it right and they could do the whole of the deck and super structures over several kits. So you could buy the section that you need.....Hmmm

Well it looks like fans of the RN will have a few wishes granted this year, with Trumpeter releasing HMS Eskimo (and other Tribals too) and HMS Belfast (hopefully with a few variants as well)

Quoted Text

Y'know what would probably make a ton of money? An resin update kit (or kits) full of sponsons and weapons and especially satellite domes to bring the 1/350 Nimitz or 1/350 Enterprise up to their current 2012 states. White Ensign has a bunch of updated brass items in one of their Nimitz sets; what I'd love to see is a resin kit to supplement it. Oh, and perhaps it should come with a Ray Bean CD/DVD that shows exactly where each update should go on each of ships.

Couldn't agree more! Big differences from the original Trumpeter 1975 configured Nimitz to todays updates. Lots of extra sponsons with weapons suites on board.

I want more 1/200 or 1/196 ships like:

any Iowa class

Uss Pennsylvania

Nimitz class

A Golden Age superliner like the Queen Mary, Normandie, Aquitania or even Olympic (please no more Titanics!)

In 1/72:

Olympia

Mikasa

HMS Dreadnought

Type XX1 U-boat

Yes, I like them large!

Ahoy Shipmates

Boy oh boy 1/72 Mikasa or Dreadnought now that would be impressive!

I also like them large!

Being a man of simple tastes here is my simplistic wish list:

1/72th post war and/or early war S38 S Boat in plastic (to supersede the Airfix one)

1/35th post war and/or early war S38 S Boat in plastic (come on Italeri!)

1/350th scale any one (just pick one) of the Great White Fleet pre dreadnought ships in plastic. If there is one and I have overlooked it my apologies.

Only one small point and if John Snyder from White Ensign Models is reading this (I am ever hopeful) the release of the long promised detail set (circa 2009) for the ancient but very popular Airfix 1/72nd “E-Boat” would be superb.

How about it John?

Cheers

1/72: Type XXI u-boat; Type 36 s-boat; Raumboot; Fischkutter; Siebelferrie; Korean Kabukson

1/35: Linse (Italeri?)

1/350: Graf Zeppelin; K class cruisers; any raider such as Atlantis; early Zerstorers; German torperdo boats and mine sweeper, more WW I era battleships from Kaiserlich Marine. FINISH THE DEUTSCHLAND CLASS!

If I could have only one of the above? The Graf Zeppelin.

Cheers

With the 1/72 Type IX coming soon, wouldn't it be grand for Revell to purchase the molds of Lindberg's OTHER I-boat (the one that didn't look wrong in the promo pics) and get it to market since Lindberg is gun-shy from their earlier I-boat fiasco?
