PS Don't forget the corvette

Hi Kev.

The Corvette is next but has to wait on the outcome of a rather serious piece of business that is unfolding at the moment.

Due to the job situation here in Brisbane (almost non-existent for us old 50+ year olds) I applied for a job with a firm in Adelaide and I am the preferred candidate at the moment as I found out when I flew down to see them last Tuesday. If I get this job and move to Adelaide I will be taking the Corvette with me and building it while I live in my caravan down there for at least 6 months. That will give me time to find a nice place for my Wife to move to in Adelaide when the time comes.

So the Corvette is going no-where fast at the moment BUT I will be doing some preliminary words about the various sets I have here now. The deck and fittings set is simply awesome content wise. I have much study to do before I start much with the PE.

The hull is now in two halves after I glued the four quarters into two halves. Fit is surprisingly good. But then again I remember most Matchbox kits went together well in the dim, dark past of the 1970s and 80s.

So be assured the Corvette has not been forgotten.

Regards
Warren

Thanks for the update Warren,

Wishing you every success with the job. . . .

Ironic, due to work my son in law is currently residing in a caravan 200 miles from home during the week. Leaving my daughter and three fantastic grandsons (future modellers ) at home. The things we have to do to make a living . . . .

All the best to you and the family for the future

Cheers Kev

I am not selling Casa Inman.. It is on 6000sq metres of land only 19km from the CBD.. that's gotta make it worth a bit in a few years!

Cheers and thanks Russ

Is this Instument Landing System?
I am afraid, no connections to aerospace industry here. And no caravans either in the middle kingdom.
Anything in shipbuilding in the Great Southern Land

Thanks Mike.

The only update will be a review of the WEM resin set for correcting the funnels and compass platform on the Belfast. Look for a review in the next few minutes..

Cheers
