I have gone with painting up the US Navy figures from Trumpy, into RN colours....
I am considering buying an Eduard set to intersperse with the others, providing the colours match!
The two guys shown below are the very best of the bunch! (oh dear)...
Cheers,
Pete.

Nice work with Figures Pete.
Remember they always look worse in a photo than they do with the Mk1 eyeball.

Great work Pete!!

Your build log really makes me want one for myself - but 1/200 is just too big for my shipyard... the more I am following your build over here, very nice job!!
Cheers

Does anyone have any rigging plans for HMS Nelon that they would be willing to share with me?
Cheers,
Pete.

Here's a couple of quick shots of Nelson at 99.9% done.
I still have the rigging to complete and to add the row-boat to the drops on the port side.
I will take some better pictures when completely finished and I can get my decent camera back from my Daughter....
Thanks for looking in.
Cheers,
Pete.

It's damned hard to get her all in the shot!...

Wow, nicely done, Pete. Your weathering is excellent. Loved the work you did on the Corvette stack.

Hi Pete:
This really turned out nice. It goes to show was a good looking model of this ship can be made right out of the box as you so well demonstrated. I was particularly looking at the secondary weapons, the pom pom's and the quad 40's look pretty darned good right out of the box. I doubt if I did this if I would bother with the aftermarket weapons sets that are now available.
Bravo Zulu
