Very quick update

After the Bismarck's spiders web, another rigging job.

I have just about made a start.

Couldn't quite get in the zone today.

Cheers

Si

Hehe, after the Bismarck Marathon you've just run Si, I'm surprised you're not taking more of a break

Hi Russ,

bit of a break before I start the next larger vessel, however I can still find the odd hour to work on what is in the shipyard,

Very nice work, Si!

And even if I mentioned it before - menacing looking!! - and the dark turret tops are really contributing to that, very good overall impression!

Cheers,
Jan

Hi Si,

I might be wrong, but I'd say over time your copper wire skills are getting better and better! This looks just great!

Rigging finished.

Etched Davits on.

Stbd quarter davits on painted.

Stbd bow davits,

Full set to go on the port side.

The one of the long accommodation ladders before the origami.

Both folded, need hitting with some paint before they are fitted, along with the two shorter ones.

More soon.

Cheers

Si

The rigging looks great Si!

Those davits and booms look so fragile-can see why you've left them to last along with the accommodation ladders.

I reckon there's a few chilling in the fridge already in anticipation of another commissioning soon!

Thanks Russ,

There is a lot of fragile stuff hanging off the side of this lady, I am rapidly running out of places I can pick her up by.

Yep the cold ones are ready.

Cheers

All those small details like the boats, davits and such really make the build come alive. It's such good news that these old ladies are finally produced in styrene.

Hi Jacob,

Thanks for looking in, agree the small details are what really add the depth.

It is indeed good news, and to have them so well done too.

Cheers
