For any unfinished ship builds. Any and all types of ships, any scale, any material (plastic, wood, paper, metal), any era. The only real qualification is that you have already started on it.
This really should be an annual event.
Proposed start time: ASAP
Proposed end date: December 31, 2017
Anyone have any ships they want to finish?

Absolutely! I guess I should have said anything that goes in the water.

In. Either a 1/350 Kursk, or a 1/350 Varyag. Both less than 25%.

Yes I do. 1/96 scale Laker I would like to complete by the end of this year.

I forgot to put the "Proposal:" in front of the thread title.

So far, there are 3 potential enlistees.
I have a few 1/700 ship kits for the campaign. One is a Dragon USS Saipan (which might be too much for me). I also have a Skywave Admiral Zakharov and many Dragon submarine kits to choose from.

I'm also building a 1/700 FH Naiad for a KMN review....I suppose I could enter that and kill two birds with one well placed 5cm round.

This sounds interesting; I have more part-built ships than I care to admit...

It's been close to an year since I done any work on the USS Texas. This might be my chance to restart work.

Well, that makes 10. I will submit the proposal to the campaign manager.

Add 1 more. Got to finish my 1/35th Vosper some day so hopefully this will give me the incentive. Besides, I P/U Trumps Hornet for next to nothing and need room for it. That is, if a P/T boat qualifies as a ship.

It qualifies. Once the campaign page is created, everyone can enlist there.

Hi Gary,
Since there has been a previous dry docked campaign, what about
calling it...Dry-Docked 2.
Just a suggestion,
Cheers,
Joe

I like "Dry Docked 2017"!
As for the award ribbon, may I suggest using the prior Dry Docked campaign ribbon,

but with the dock parts in red or yellow rather than blue. The use of alternate color graphics is, IMHO, more attractive than the customary use of "II", "2", or "2017", etc. for subsequent campaigns with similar names.

I was planning on using the original ribbon with the year on it, but the different colors would be another choice.

Good ideas from both Tim and you....let me know...as I have the
original artwork in my computer and can do the alterations based
on your suggestions.
Cheers,
Joe
