I think most of us salty types don't put the railings on until after the sub assemblies are glued down Ken!
It's just something we learn to work around, so don't be too hard on yourself!

Hi Ken,
great to see that you've recovered from your mishap, and sad to hear that you're struggling again. Your King looks brilliant, and I hope you'll find a proper workaround. I'ts a constant fight as what to glue down first, and there is no clear path to follow, always depends...
Looking forward to see more of you King!
Cheers,
Jan

Hi all that's all the PE attached just the rigging to do now (not looking forward to that) I say all the PE there are some steps and platforms to add to the sides but I will add them after it's on a stand as I already broke the platform off the one set of stairs which I added and lost the platform for them, i figure it will be safer to leave them till last.

Ken,
I love the unpainted photoetch - it is a dramatic, innovated look! It will also make it abundantly clear to casual observers of your KGV just how much effort goes into detailing a good ship build.
Now for some fun with the rigging...

Agree with Tim & Mark,
It is an innovative build. My tip for rigging, take it one step at a time. I tend to look the rigging of as a number of small projects, that way I don't get overwhelmed.
Good luck,
Cheers

Great work Ken! Good to see something a bit different with the naked PE brass...
As for the rigging, the KGV class of ships have IMHO one of the easiest rigs of all the WW1/2 navies so don't get too intimidated...

Ken,
great work definitely, she looks awesome. The shining brass gives her a very nice touch!! And you did a great job on the rigging, too - not my favorite work, as well. The more I take my hat off to you!
Cheers,
Jan
