Its going to be a while, I have to build some wingy things for some Aeroscale campaigns. I have Douglas Bader's Spitfire MK Va and a Corsair to build. Then back to boats.
It will be something smaller that's for sure. I think I am leaning towards the USS Pegasus for the Under 1000 tons campaign. She is a 251 ton, 41m long hydrofoil. Just a tad bit smaller than the 41000 ton, 257m long Iwo Jima.
I am definitely on a modern(ish) warship kick lately. My fleet worth of WW2 ship kits is on the back burner.

  I hear you though: sometimes its good to mix things up with different vessels and time frames etc.
 Even better to throw in a few wing things from time to time...

Couldn't agree more. Ironically ships are my 'mixing' things up go to. I am primarily an armour modeler

I´m sorry, totally missed your commissioning!!
Great work, she looks awesome and really busy with the airing and boats, and very nice with some escorts, too!
