I will admit I am a little mad, but then I think most modellers are, but in a good way.

Last weekend's progress.
Etched arrestor wires in place.
look much better than moulded on.
The Master models Quad Bofors, one under way to get a feel for them.
Test fitted in the bow tub.
The first batches of 20mm, pontos parts.
more production lines soon.

It has been a bit busy of late, so this is the weekend before last's update.
The first quad 40mm finished. they do look the part, but they are a tricky to build.
and fitted in place.
A few 20mm under way.
I am getting a bit further, will post last weekend's update towards the end of the week.

It is a bit of a challenge, I have a production line going for the 20mm, ten or so at a time, that way I don't get bogged down. The quad 40s are a one a time job as there are only six.

More 20mm action.
Paint going on the first ten
The first ten completed. The recoil springs have been picked out in a steel colour and washed with gloss dark brown to give an oily finish.
And seven more coming on.

Well the plan to get a load of bench time in week off went well.
But I did get a new bench built, and the workshop / office / study etc reorganized.
Back to the Ranger.
16 20mm completed and ready to fit.
fitted.
started on the Island, just to do something different.
and the wildcats that will go on the flightdeck.

A little progress over the weekend.
Work on the rangefinders started.
There are these two parts, number G1, they look very much 50 cal MGs.
Fortunately I had some black cat items in stock.
painted and fitted to the lower bridge.
A bit more work on the island.
