The proposal has been submited for aproval, with a starting date of August 1, 2005 and the ending date is April 1, 2006. For a good long build of 8 months. I hope this is ok'd so we can start planning what to build and begin gathering our materials. I for one am excited about this campaign! Now cross your fingers, and stand by for the good word!

That's great and I'm sure we'll soon be "gathering" our goodies. With the extra time, I'm now thinking of starting with a 1/700th USS Washington and maybe going to a 1/350th Tamiya Yamato. Double your pleasure and double your fun (and the scale)!
I have quite a collection of 1/700 WW II Battleships (Tamiya, Hasegawa, etc), most all of the Japanese, British, and German in a packing box "stash". If someone doesn't have one yet, has decided on a "subject", or having trouble getting a particular one, I m ight be able to help. I'll donate the kit and send it to you basically anywhere, just let me know in a PM and I'll see what I can do. Might help to get some others in that aren't sure they wan to make the investment. I'll leave final approval if this is alright with you Garry. Ain't Armorama just great!!

And Skipper, totally outstanding banner. I'll have to finish up my "VE- Victory in Europe" project earlier so I can display it sooner. Fantastic and thanks,

Blade you are just lucky I ain't greedy and that I stopped building 700 scale years ago...or I'ld strip ya clean :-) :-) :-)

I've got 5 350 scale pending including Bismarck, and by then the North Carolina will be out. Some of those new 700's coming out are real beauties though

Hey, you're still welcome to pick up an "old favorite" if ya want. These are older kits that I got mainly in the late 70s, early 80s when I was in the Air Force (I know sounds weird for an Air Force guy to be getting "squid" stuff, but what the hey!). Those "Base Exchange" prices were nice then. Anyone is welcome.

Thank you Garry!!
I am faster with my mouse and keyboard than with my brushes and paints

But my first entry for DDD is emerging this weekend (with a built article to go with it)
