Steve
Mask, then spray the hull black again. This will seal any small gaps between the tape and the black paint and prevent any "creeping" of the red. Let it dry and then spray the red.

Hi Steve!
I have been there - so... welcome to the club!
But think ... It could be worst - it's only paint and a little more work! NO REAL DAMAGE DONE

Keep your mind clear and do it only when you have your mind set to it

Well this may not be as bad as I first thought. After looking at a reference I had and thinking about what you guys said, I noted that my black was too low on the bow anyway. So, I'd need to re-mask anyway. Yeah, I think it's not as bad as I first thought. So, I was being over dramatic I guess.
What a week.

I was bulding an old Monogram P-47 once (wasn't old then). Had the fuselage assembled and did a wonderful job of eliminating the seems-then realised I didn't put the cockpit in. And you're having a bad day?

go out and get a roll of that blue painters tape. If you aren't using it yet, I have found it seals pretty darn good. Used it for the first time when i did my giant u-boat. .......... very very little bleeding
