Hi all!

Just to let you all know that I will be on vacation from tomorrow until April 26, so don't worry if I don't reply to your posts!

I promisse that I will have two Warship Features when I arrive - of "real stuff" to be used as reference for our works!

I'll be here today though

When you visit the Pampanito, look for Frank's subs, he told me that he had donated a couple to the museum.

Enjoy yourself and make sure you go home with lots of goodies. Hide the cedit card from Mrs. Skipper

Which by the way, I think you're getting the short end of the stick on that deal. The shopping will cost more than your visits to the O'Brian and Pampanito....

Don't let her know I said that....I know how they get!

Have a safe trip

Ah-a
That's why I "only have to go along" on the shopping raids - she could (AND WILL!!) use her credit card :-)
Time consuming though but it's part of the deal:
To give and receive!

I'll also try to find some interesting books, maybe second-hand or "rare" stuff... (this is the reason why the luggage is always so heavy on our way home!!)

Yes, I (we) hope that it will be FUN!!

Thanks Steve!!

Hi Rui

Have a fanastic holiday!

I'll look in regularly to make sure everyone's happy while you're away. It'll be a really good excuse for me to start picking everyone's brains while I start figuring out what to do for Gary's Flat-tops campaign.

I haven't decided what to build yet, but it'll be a 1/48 scale WW2 aircraft vignette. I'll need plenty of help as I'm not at all up to speed on deck crew and equipment etc.

All the best

Rowan
