Boris,
You have done a fantastic job on the weathering.  I really like it! Thanks also for the new photo angle on the insulators, I can see better how you made them. One question, you threaded your microballons onto the wire first then added the super-glue...correct?

Great looking sub. The weathering is great and your insulators technique is great. The periscopes really look good too. Are they from the kit? How did you get them to look so real?

Hi Plasticat,
the periscopes look so real because I made them with 3mm stainless stell rods and polished. the busines parts of periscopes been cuted from plastic ones from kit,  altered a bit and glued with rods with superglue.

I mix  microballons with few drops of  superglue first and then form insulators on the wire.
