Hello Mates!

I know that some of you are strugling to finish your subs for DDD Campaign, at least I am!
I have the SLC200 Maiale, the Marder (manned torpedo, not the AFV), Hai and a 1/350 Kursk (for Seeing Red Campaign)!
What are you building right now?

Not part of a campaign(didn't know about one) but I am finishing a Revell U-boat (the small one) with the aftermarket conning tower and guns. And a Panzer II.

Hello skipper

For the moment I have one 1/72 Snowflower which I'm trying to prepare for RC.. Just finished the outer hull painting, and now it's on with installing and testing the r/c stuff. I'm planning on going overboard on her weathering .
And I just bought myself a little present: REvell's 1/72 PT -117 boat.
(Well, I didn't know it was such an old kit, a lot of flash, ejector pins, etc.... The new revell u-boat really spoiled us I guess...)

Ooh, and I now have the new Revell 1/72 Deutsche Marinefiguren.. I'll post some inbox pics later on. They look pretty cool. 51 figures, 14 different poses. no flash, no marks....!! They willl form a good crew for my U- and S-boat.

And as a sidedish I'm building Tamiya's 1/35 Abrams with mineplow...just to keep me busy....

OOooh what a hard life I have....

To warvas---White Ensign Models put out PE set for this kit. Don't know about costs, but I think it will help upgrade this ancient kit a bit

As for me, I've spent the past 6 weeks on the Nimitz. (the big 350 scale Trumpeter) So far have about 45 aircraft finished, doing the Tamiya set 2 aircraft now (has the Phantom, Hawkeye, Helicopter, and Prowlers) to augment the aircraft. On the ship I've got the upper hull section (all above the red) finished. Need to finish aircraft up to decide on what's in the hanger deck. Then I can start on flight deck and island. I figure end of May or early June unless I get distracted by a pretty thing with skirts.....fender skirts that is

No kidding...this is what I'm working on. I've been spraying paint since 10:00 Am and finished an hour and a half ago at 4:00 PM. And...not everything I've been working on is in the photo.

Told ya...like a kid in a candy store....I get started and then build another then another....I'm not a well person.

Martin...yep..getting old and suffer from CRS.

It's all the paint and glue fumes....I'm sure.

On a roll in the modeling department. (must have been the Celtic music)

And during the weekend I attacked Zvezda's Kurks, since Seeing Red Campaign is about to finish!

Primed it last night after sveral hour sandind sanding and I am not satisfied with the fitting of that model parts

But I can say that all my entries for DDD and Seeing Red will be ready on the 12th May since it's the openning day of our club annual expo!

So let's get to work

What's ON my workbench aren't ships, although one is a flying boat.

What's next up is, of course, the Dreadnought Campaign.

In my "stash" & clamoring for attention are:
-- Trumpeter's 1/350 Liberty Ship, with both Tom's & GMM P/E -- wonderful stuff both of 'em
-- Trumpeter's Mayflower, which I will hack into a reasonable representation of the Elizabeth II, a smaller ship, which brought the First Colony here to NC in 1587.

Also "en stash", but of lower priority are:
-- Revell's 1/72 Corvette (need some aftermarket here)
-- the Sirmar 1/48 Corvette (short f'csle) semi-kit from Model Dockyard
-- Trumpeters Hornet to be converted to a 1944 Enterprise
