Hi All

I would like to invite you all, regular participants and all interested in this Salty Part of Armorama, to give a warm welcome to Steven Arthur (95Bravo)!

Steve will be a great help and the guarantee that there will be always someone taking care of this area - to avoid situations like when I went M.I.A. (for work reasons)!

Thank you Steve
Thank you all of you who have been making this part of Armorama more alive and full of interest!

Skipper (who actually is very pround of this "bunch" of friends)

:-) :-) :-) The irony of it wasn't lost on several of my old MP buddies...nor my father in law who is retired Navy. (30 years)

Thanks Scott, Martin, and Plasticat.

I appreciate your well wishes and confidence.

OK, so a guy from Kansas, the exact geographical center of the US, not near anything like a real body of water much less salt, and scientifically proven to be flatter than a pancake, is now the Assistant Warship Bubba ??? :-)

Surfin' Jawhawker ??? :-)

All kidding aside, congratulations !!!!

John (& Roy says hi also)

*LOL* Ironic, isn't it?

though after last night's storms and those on the way at this moment, we seem to have a surplus of water and the creeks are full and out of their banks. So, I could help with the Brown Water Navy stuff ....

Thank you John and tell Roy hi as well, but all is not forgiven.....turncoat.

Would it help if I mentioned that Kansas was an inland sea during the Cretaceous period?

David, thanks also. You bet this is friendly place...some of the best folks I know are right here.

Take care all

Well earned guys, well earned. Now if we can just get both of you guys out of the "bottom" of the pool once in a while to start appreciating the surface navy :-)

Steve I am looking forward the start of Dreadnoughts
It will be my first BIG SHIP... If I don't count the Bismark and the Tirpitz built when I was 8 or 9 from Heller Cadet boxes (1/2400) which I still have!!!

And I appreciate the surface vessels, after all, I was on two of them when I was in the Portuguese Navy :-)

26 days and counting - and I bet I will surprise you!!
