Greetings, ye salty dogs!

O.K., folks, only 19 more days left til the start of this wonderful campaign...I can feel the blood pounding in my temples already! I have a question to ask of the participants...Would you like to keep the present "Gary's Campaigns" Banner for this campaign, or would someone like to design a very special one, in Gary's honor? Personally, I really like the Gary's banner, but I want everyone involved with this campaign to be able to contribute more than an entry, if they wish to do so...so let's discuss, and if you choose to want to change the banner, then how about some volunteers from our talented corps? Remember, it's our campaign, together, to honor Gary, and all that he did for the hobby itself, and here at Armorama..

I have no talent at designing, or creating things like this but I have one request. I don't even know if this is possible to do, but if it is please refrain from having any animation or sound effects on the banner. I have one naval site I like going to and when you click on it you get a very realistic, and annoying sound of a battleship firing. I really don't need that. That's my only request. I'll probably just keep Garry's banner for a while longer. It's still too soon after his passing for me.

Gunny:
I'm cool with current one, or a new one -- it's kinda a don't care (but I don't mean that about Garry) as I don't display 'em anyway ....
I agree with Rodger to keep 'em simple & non-animated, enough bandwidth is wasted these days as is.

If it's all the same to you guys, I'm gonna keep the one I've got , at least until the end of the Flatop campaign next year, and the probably go back to no banner.

I hope you don't mind but I'm going to keep the Garry banner untill after flattops as well. At that time I will go back to my old one or ask someone to make me a new version.

Greetings, mates...
I too agree with what has been said so far about this subject, and I would like to keep the present banner...but I had to put this subject on the table in all fairness of the campaign docket...we'll let this thread run until Friday (tomorrow) and then the decision will be final..Thanks for your input and cooperation, gentlemen!
Sincerely,
Gunny

I plan to keep Garry's banner as well. In fact I'll keep it until DDD2 is launched and over.

Then if I can talk Martin into it again, I'll see if he'll make me a 95 Bravo banner for everyday use.

I had Margarita night last night with "Amazon Woman" She stands 6'1" and is a police officer with a black belt in Tai Kwan Doe and a Green in Akido. She's a fellow student in my Legal Research class and very happily married. She just want ed to break into our study group and get to know us. Great GAL
