Hello Skipper,
Yes very impressive indeed. Just can't wait for its release.
This will be the large scale boat I will build.

Just about finished with my 1:125 tower Turm IV ; will post
photos over the holidays and get to work on the hull.

It has to be ready in January for an upcoming contest/exhibit
here in Montreal. Good thing that I am on a three week leave.

By the way how do I enlist for DDD2? I have a diorama that
I would like to start for DDD2.

Talk to you soon and have a Merry X-mas!

Joe - can we repeat the "recipe" with your Turm IV as we did for U-96?
;)

Joe,

you make that look way too easy. :-)

Did you score the decking for the wintergarten or is that corrugated sheet?

It's awesome, seriously awesome.

Hello Steve,

The deck is corrugated MR sheet and this was also used
for the vertical wood planks within the tower, just in a different
size.
Have a nice day

Sweet,

Now it would be sweeter if they offered a 1/72 Type II and a Type IX...

I need a good camera to take the photos, but I'm trying to get someone.

Hello SKurj,

Some good news! Special Navy (a branch of MPM) who
brought to us the beautiful Type XXIII in 1:72 scale,
have announced that they intend to release a Type II.

No specific release date but in 2006.

And I agree, would it not be great to see a Type IX from RoG ?

Maybe after the release in spring 2006 of their type VII Turm IV
and in late 2006 of their Gato/Balao, they will surprize us all
with a Type IX B or C !!!

What a great year it will be for the submariners!!!

It's about time someone paid attention to WWII subs.

So far it's all good news.
Have a nice day and happy modelling and
of course HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Joe

Holla Miguel,
Como Estas?
All is well here in Montreal but cold!

You surprized me ! Thank you so much! I did not expect this
nice book about the Spanish submarine fleet. A great addition
to my library. Thanks again.

If you need any other help with your u-boats just let me know.

Keep in touch and looking forwards to some pics on the site.

And of course a HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

I love that wintergarten. If I could just find a place for it. I built the first big boat earlier this year for DDD 1, but with all the BB's and AC's in 350 scale out or coming out, just plan on sticking with what I've got and admiring this type in the 400 scale sub collection I've built. I noticed that this kit also has a snorkle as well as the 20mm on the wintergarten....It sure looks grand and despite everything I'll bet I'll give int the dark side. I'm still going to try to hold out for a Type IX with a wintergarten.

Hi friends, another time.
Hi, Joe, How are you? I suppose during this time, the weather in Montreal will be very cold. Here in Madrid is not too much. I'm very happy that you like the book and there was not any problem with the shipping. Enjoy it with it and if you like any language translation, no problem, you ask me.

It is a great notice for the submarine people. it is true, it is the time (2006 year) for the new works.

Hi, Joe, when I have any question more, I ask you:
Thanks friend, and I hope to see again.
Chao.
