Hi guys,
Is Revell still planning on releasing a 1/72 scale Gato or other US WWII boat? I scanned through the forums but saw nothing. Working in smaller scales is getting tougher with my "old" eyes and I would love to detail the heck out of it.
Thanks,
Cob

Pre-order? I thought they had already released it..I could have sworn I'd seen it in the last flyer..maybe it was a pre-order as well. Which would explain why no-one has said anything about building one for DDD2 Huh!

Cool, Looks like it will be out in November.

I'm just curious, how do you folks plan on displaying this puppy? It's far longer than my display case is wide. I could build a shelf for it, but I normally put shelves up high, and this one would need to be a couple feet at least down from the celing. It's so big I can't think of what to do with her if and when I ever get her.

I put mine (Type VIIc) on top of my computer monitor. I'm trying to save shelf space for all those 350 scale monsters. Right now the Essex and Mighty Mo are on top of my entertainment center. I have a room I built wall to wall shelving in for books and models and a spare bedroom that I've put a couple of the really big carriers in (Lex and Nimitz). I still have the Tamiya Enterprise and New Jersey and the Trumpeter North Carolina and Hornet to build too. With the Hood and the Alabama this year I am going to have to rethink things a bit.
