Anyone order PE sets from GMM? How long did it normally take your order to arrive? I put in an order at the first of the month and am still waiting...I'm just curious as to when I should begin to get nervous.

I'd give them a call or drop them an email to see what's going on. Their turnaround time is usually really quick and they are definitely one of the most reliable vendors I've dealt with in the hobby. There has to be a good reason you haven’t seen your stuff yet.

hmmm, I do have the advantage of being less than 100 miles away, but my last order took ~two weeks. That's from when I put my check into the mail till I got the brass back. Seemed pretty speedy to me.

D'oh! And I sent them a money order so there shouldn't have been any sort of problem with waiting for a check to clear or anything....I'll hang tight until the end of the week and if I haven't seen the brass by Monday I'll be giving them a call or something.

Man.....delays delays delays.

Thanks guys
Steve

Steve,

I'd say go ahead and drop a polite e-mail on Loren. He's usually easy to get along with. The weather here in Washington was great last week, he might have been out enjoying it. The rains have returned this week, so no telling.....

If you ordered a set he just produced, it may not be quite ready yet. He also might be O/S on the item. I've used a lot of his stuff, but I have alawys gotten it from another source.

Well, it hadn't arrived yet as of today, so if it's a no show tomorrow, I'll inquire.

Steve, no he wasn't out of stock because I'd asked him just before I placed my order.

He's posted over at Steel Navy that he's running into delays filling orders due to the incredible amount of orders he has received lately, especially from outside the US. In some cases, he's run out of the PE entirely and is waiting for the etchers to replenish his stock.

He says to be hang tight, that he'll fill every order as soon as he can.

You might want to check your mailman's house. Things got so bad for me for a while that I asked my stuff to be sent UPS. I had two packaes and my TV guide was showing up every OTHER week in November and December.
