Was she the one attributed to killing the Johnson or was it Kirishima?

The Battle of Samar website's page on the Johnston says that she was hit by 14 inch shells from a Kongo-class battleship, but doesn't say which one.

Kirishima was sunk in November 1942 by the USS Washington. Haruna was the other Kongo-class BB present at Samar.

Thanks for the correction I thought the Kirishima didn't sound right and I also knew that the Hiei had been previously sunk as well. Forgot about the good old Haruna.

She's finished! The photo is a little dark. The water is made from white paintable caulk and the bow wakes are spackle. The whole thing received a couple of coats of gloss gel medium.

Nice Build and an equally great presentation, mate!
Now, since you mentioned the water, I'll bet that there could be a place in our Features department for an SBS of your methods, my friend!

I've got a review build for IPMS/USA on the bench right now. I'll kill two birds with one stone and do a sbs for my water technique when I get ready to mount the kit on the base.
