Hi Rui,

I'm always lurking in the shadows...... I keep purchasing more and more ship models, I'm currently waiting to pick up the new Hasegawa 350th ice breaker, great subject matter. Hopefully I'll persuade myself to complete a few ship models this year,... it's been a while since my last one.

Frank

Frank, you won't be dissapointed with this kit, mate. . .I've got a review of this one in the mist, just putting the finishing touches on it. . .the kit is HUGE, detail is top notch, and the added bonus extras are very cool!

Damn... so I admit I voted for sailing ships as all I read last year and the year before were Napoleonic-period novels (Forester,O'Brian), but I wasn't expecting to see many votes for that type.

Makes me think we should start adding more sailing ships! :-)

Cheers,
Jim

Hmm, great minds DO think alike, Captain!
BUT seriously, i too agree that we could use a bit more of the "oars and wind" around the site. . .I'm still open for a group build, if we could get a bit more interest!

Frank,

:-) The snow and cold don't bother me, it just makes me appreciate that stiffling heat everyone else complains about come Summer time.

Nine days out, 43 votes in. . .sub's are still carrying a very narrow lead (1 vote) right now, with the (how fitting! ) sub-chasing destroyer close on it's heels! Cast yer vote today, and if ya want to, tell us why here in this thread!
Cheers,
~Gunny
