Voted.

Cruisers all the way. They do everything the other types do, without all the headlines. Oh, by the way. When I say Cruiser, I mean a REAL cruiser, something with a gun bigger than 5", unless it's an AA cruiser.

I can't really vote for just one here! I love Battleships, because of the details all over the place. But I also love to do Carriers as well, because you get to do the airwing to go along with the ship.

Can I split my vote?

Not being a major ship modeler, (they don't have wheels and tires) I voted for the type I love looking at.
Hope that was OK.

I voted for Destroyers too but I have yet to actually build one. I built one as a kid and sadly it sunk in our neighborhood war games. It couldn't stand up to the old BB Gun (Battleship)...

Dave, must mean you prefer carriers. Most of them have wheeled vehicles on the flight deck to assist in moving and spotting aircraft around. :-) :-) :-)

Vote cast, Cruisers all the way - light, heavy, armoured and AA.

You have to love the old WWI armoured cruisers.

Damn... so I admit I voted for sailing ships as all I read last year and the year before were Napoleonic-period novels (Forester,O'Brian), but I wasn't expecting to see many votes for that type.

Makes me think we should start adding more sailing ships! :-)

Cheers,
Jim

Hi Rui,

I'm always lurking in the shadows...... I keep purchasing more and more ship models, I'm currently waiting to pick up the new Hasegawa 350th ice breaker, great subject matter. Hopefully I'll persuade myself to complete a few ship models this year,... it's been a while since my last one.

Frank
