Dus,
Thank you for the URL to the Indochina site. I've been all over that one, believe me. It seems extremely difficult to believe there are no drawings or other photos available of the LCVP's modified for service there. But I have plenty of time, and will keep searching. Between the US wood ones, and the French Steel ones, there has to be more info out there
Thanks again, guys, and I'll keep digging. Semper Fi ............Bruce

Ok Bruce, if I do find any pics of interest I will PM you mate.
Happy hunting.

Bruce,

Squadron has a Riverine softback that has photos of French and American forces on the rivers of Vietnam. Very inexpensive and some rather good photos.

Hi All

Just a reminder about the up coming Riverine build, we start next Sunday!

Look out for a yellow tabbed thread that Gunny will post and add any posts(comments, questions, progress, etc.) on to there.

Any questions, anything you are unsure of then fire away and I will try and answer them.

All the best

Hi guys

I am on for this one with a M113A1. Off course I am going to show it in the brown water. Either entering, leaving and "sailing" through the water.

I will start a search on the internet for M113s in the water in Vietnam. I have to determine how long they were in the water and if the back top hatch etc. were open during water crossings.

Any help and/or pictures are highly appreciated

Ahoy Jesper,
Welcome aboard!
:-H

I think it's really cool when we can have cross-genre modelers in a campaign here at Kitmaker, I had a ball with the wingnuts joining up for the Flattops Campaign, and it would be great if a whole lot more would sign up as well! This should be a very interesting campaign to watch and learn from!
Cheers,
~Gunny
