Two museums in the United States have entered a joint venture in restoration. The Plimoth Plantation in Plymouth Massachusetts is having their centerpiece attraction, the reproduction of the Pilgrims' Mayflower, the Mayflower II, restored at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic Connecticut during the Winter and Spring seasons in preparation for the 400th anniversary of the Pilgrims arrival to America.
