MK1 Design has released a multi-media upgrade set for Trumpeter's 1/350 RN Roma.

1/350 ROMA Deluxe Pack for Trumpeter
MD-35025

The DX set features the following items;
4 Brass Photo Etched Parts
1 Stainless Steel Photo Etched Part
1 Wooden Deck Sheet
39 Brass Metal Parts
1 Masking Sheet
The KA Models website is down at the moment so that is all the information I have at the moment. There is one for sale on EvilBay already here.
Think it may be a little over priced there but they will come down eventually.
Pontos and Regia Marina have joined forces and are bringing out a similar set soon so it will be interesting to compare the two eventually.

Fantastic, the site appears to be in full working order once again! I agree, I don't think that anyone who buys one of these sets will be disappointed.

I am a great fan of the idea of the comprehensive sets, gets rid of the issues where the deck is designed to fit the unmodified kit & the etch isn't designed to fit with the deck etc. well done MK1 Si

wish this had come out a year ago..I bought the trumpeter upgrade set and a wooden half deck already..some nice looking stuff so if it is reasonably priced I may spring for it yet
