Just received, first images of the new Dragon Releases announced at the Japanese Shizuoka Hobby Show ...
Three New warship releases have been announced - two 'Premium Edition' releases and one completely new kit.

Also the (previously announced) the U.S.S. Arizona, which I covered before...



There is one new kit, which is a definite 'departure' for DML - a 1/350th scale Destroyer:

WOW, I'm totally impressed. Not only a 1/350 destroyer, but one that isn't a Fletcher class, AND one from early in the war, 1942. I would love to know what their thought process was in choosing the Buchanan, but I'm NOT complaing. This really fills a major gap in 1/350 scale ships.

I've probably seen news on these, but I've forgotten them. Did you notice the 1/700 I-400 and, I think, Fuso or Yamashiro?

Yes, those are re-tooled versions of the Fuso and Yamashiro. Long overdue. If they are as nice as the retooled Nagato Aoshima did, they'll be well received.
