Listed as coming out later this fall and available for pre-order, is a 1/450 kit of the guided missile destroyer Atago. She is the lead ship of a class of the same name, named after Mount Atago in Japan.

In service since 2007, Atago is equipped with anti-ship cruise missiles, sophisticated detection and ranging equipment. The ship is loaded with various missiles-anti-ship, anti-submarine, and anti-air missiles, as well as a host of torpedoes, point-defense 20mm Gatling cannons, a standard five-inch gun and an onboard helicopter.

Listed as kit No. HSGS4152, she is made up of 155 pieces with an assembled length of 14.6 in (372 mm) and a width of 2 .0 in (52 mm).
