For those who prefer their submarine models less then a yard long, RCSubs has announced a 1/144 PE set for Revell's Type VIIC/41 u-boat (kit no. 5100).
The 41's differed slightly from the other VIIC's in that they had more steel in the pressure hull to give it a deeper crush depth and had lighter made internal machinery to compensate for the boats total weight.. 91 examples were produced of Type VIIC/41. Only one survives today -the U-995 at the Laboe Naval Memorial in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. She is the only Type VII in existence in the word.
