Here's NEWS, Company images, and product images of a new vendor added to Model Shipwrights databanks, MODELIK!
Lately, I have been receiving a great deal of news from across the pond concerning paper models, (of ALL genre's, not just the floaty kind!), and honestly, I have never really done much in this type of modeling media.
But the built up images of some of the new kit subjects that I have had the pleasure of seeing has caused me to examine this side of modeling a bit more further.
Looking at the images, it's almost hard to believe that these are card-stock paper, maties, not injection mold plastice, poured resin, or photo-etch brass!
This Poland based company, although new to Model Shipwrights, have been in business since 1990 (previously as MODELCARD s.c.). They have published over 200 paper models of planes, vehicles, war ships and buildings (to view the listing see the link above). Since 2001 all new models (and reprints) have been prepared with professional graphic programs, and state of the art equipment. In April 2005 MODELIK has expanded and opened their own offset printers shop, producing their line of paper model kits.
Be sure to visit the official company website (which is available in English as well) and take a closer look at their entire line of models. The website is well put together, easy to navigate, and packed with images and information about both the company and their products.
And,
When contacting vendors about these products, tell 'em you saw it on the pages of Model Shipwrights!
