With big scale carrier kits you need big scale aircraft (well, relatively big for ship modeling scales). Assembled and pre-painted aircraft packs are Merit's newest offerings.

Merit's USS Hornet Kit (No MIL-62001) already contains all of the 16 Doolittle raid aircraft with their markings plus 5 SBDs, 5 F4Fs and 8 TBD-1s and now the aircraft are being offered separately in 4 new sets. All sets contain 4 aircraft in blister pack packaging and each set contains decals.

This first set (No. MIL-68201) is of early war B-25s and it contains decals for tail numbers of all Doolittle raid aircraft and nose art/markings for 3 individual planes. Nose weights have been molded into the aircraft to prevent tail sitting.

Next are naval aircraft sets that contain options for pre and post Battle of Midway markings:
