The Sovereign of the Seas sets sail again! Model Space releases their latest nautical offering of highly detailed scale Models.

Model Space is part of the De Agostani Group of companies which was first formed back in 1901. This allows a modeller to be able to create amazingly detailed kits from virtually all genre without having to pay for the entire model costs up front. Each particular model is a subscription which is broken down into easy to manage sections of construction and shipped on a monthly basis; in most cases once a month for twelve months. You can also choose to purchase the entire model at one time receiving the entire kit at once. Each section of the kits come with with parts and instructions for that particular section of construction and continue until all sections of the model have been delivered. One of the latest kits offered from Model Space is the Sovereign of the Seas wooden ship kit. This is a 1:84 scale replica of the 17th Century British ship of the line, HMS Sovereign of the Seas. The comes complete with all of the detailed appointments to render an amazing scale model of the ship. With the "Pay as you go" option, the construction parts and processes are broken down into twelve month increments starting with the keel and hull framing and more. Each month a new section will arrive with another set of parts to construct the next phase of the ship along with a set of instructions in magazine format outlining a step-by-step assembly guide in building that section.

The kit is presented in plank on bulkhead construction offering materials to construct fully rigged masts and yardarms, working anchors and davits, full compliment of cannon and deck equipment as well as cloth sails that have been fitted and sewn for realism and simplified construction. In the 1:84 scale, the ship's final dimensions after construction will measure 43.3 x 35.4 x 15.7 inches; and impressive scaling and incredibly detailed.
