The Go Shiki 2Goh 5Gata Catapult was the most common naval catapult used in the Imperial Japanese Navy for its battleships and cruisers. A kit of this apparatus will be made available this month.
Aircraft such as the Nakajima E4N2, E8N, Kawanishi E7K , Mitsubishi F1M and Aichi E13A were launched from these catapults. They were mounted on ships like the Kongo, Yamato battleships, Takao class cruisers and more. This kit (No. 72270 ) can be pre-ordered now from Hobby Link Japan for ¥960 ($7.60 USD) plus shipping.
