Tim Reynaga reported on a 1/350 Shimakaze destroyer kit by Max Factory in mid August and now Fujim has announced a kit of there own for the end of this coming November. It is part of their 'Warship Next' series.

Fujimi's version has its own features of special parts, like the decking, that have their own adhesion ability. This kit (No. 46001) can be built for a full hull or waterline display,

Hobby Link Japan has the kit available for pre-order for ¥3,840 ($32.15 USD).

While the Fujimi is about half the price of the Max Factory kit, the latter seems to have sharper detail than the former kit, based on what photo images we've seen so far of both kits, plus, Hasegawa is releasing a PE set specifically for the Max Factory kit. Decisions, decisions......
