The S-100 klasse boats were 34.9 meters long. This works out to 129 feet, which is a little over 44 inches in 1/35. Not quite as big as the 1/72 Gato, but quite impressive none the less. The problem will be convincing the wife. She got quite tired of sharing our kitchen table with the Italeri Elco which is a mere 28 inches.

I would love to see the eralier war version of the S-boot. That would be all so nice.

Hmm, looks like it is time to go hit the Megabucks Jackpot so I can afford both PT and S Boote as well as a house big enough to have a shelf that long to show them off. Now if some enterprising individual would come up with a Fairmile as well as a Vosper, that would be time to uncork the champagne. Jay Massey treadhead1952 Las Vegas, NV

That's big.

All my sources say the S-100 class was 35 meters length overall. Since the stated scale is 1/35 the math becomes REAL simple. 35 divided by 35 is 1. The model should be a meter long, or 39.37 inches if you prefer. Do not know where I am going to put the thing, but I'll get one for sure! andy

The question is: Do I get it or put gas in the car twice?

Heck, that would fill my truck once! Decisions, Decisions.
