1/3000 IJN Battleships & Destroyers 8-ship Set

1/3000 scale!

Fujimi has announced the release of FUJ40134, the IJN BB Kongo, Hiei, Haruna, Kirishima and Shiratsuyu-class Destroyers 8-ship Set in 1/3000 scale.

Apparently designed for wargaming, these “New Warship Collection No.1” ships have got to be the smallest injected plastic ship models around. Having recently built a 1/2400 scale cruiser, I can’t even imagine detailing a fleet this small..!

The new micro-fleet is listed by Hobbylink Japan at http://hlj.com/product/fuj40134 and can be ordered for ¥1,280 (about US$12.00).
