A couple of modellers on another site stated the hulls on theirs were warped to some degree, but mine seems to be OK. However, there are a couple of light molding seams running vertically through the hull plating in areas, and some sink holes to take of.

This new model may be my plunge into 1/144 ships! It looks very good. I look forward to one of you showing it off.

I'm hoping this will spur a new 1/144 WWII sub. We have a couple of Revell Type VIIs, a type II, a type XXIII, a XXI, and Trumpeter Gatos, but we sorely need a Type IX u-boat in 1/144. All I have is an inaccurate Academy Type IX in 1/150.

Michael, I am sure that RoG will scale down their two 1:72 Type IXs, in the near future but would really like a Type IX B with the deck armament. Cheers, Joe

I've just been in contact with Mark Hawkins of 3D Boats (Shapeways) and a replacement single 2lb Pompom is on the drawing board.

Hi Guys, Hey ... I am getting the REVELL 1:144 HMCS SNOWBERRY from SQUADRON for $27.59 (using my 40% Author's discount). Could anyone here knows RCN/RN/RAN/RNZN ships tell me what the SNOWBERRY had for her armament package like in late-1943, 1944, 1945? And what camou scheme she wore in that time-frame, please? Thank you, Tim
