Tamiya Models sends us news of two very interesting limited edition releases, the 1/300 IJN Yugumo and Yukikaze with submarine motor.
An improvement over the Kagero-class destroyers, the Yugumo-class of 19 ships served with distinction throughout WWII. The lead ship of the class, Yugumo, now returns with a clip-on electric submarine motor, enabling forward and circular running in the water. Features classic box art by Mr. Shigeru Komatsuzaki.
One of the very few Japanese Navy destroyers to survive WWII, the famous Yukikaze makes a return, this time with a clip-on electric submarine motor, which enables forward and circular running in the water. Features the classic box art of Mr. Kihachiro Ueda.
Retail price $26.13
