Loose Cannon Models sends us news of a very interesting release, the 1/700 USNS Hayes, T-AG -16.
The USNS Hayes, T-AG -16, variously classified as a Sound Trials Ship or an Acoustic Research Ship, is the Navy's only facility capable of full-spectrum active and passive ship acoustic signature measurements. HAYES provides the capability to perform RDT&E evaluations to determine the sources of ship noise, to assess vulnerability, and to develop quieting measures. HAYES is able to conduct acoustic trials both underway using a towed array and moored when conducting more conventional ship signature trials.

Kit is molded in soft styrene-like gray resin. One piece molds were used to make the castings. No photoetch.
Retail cost - $ $40.00

How big do you figure the ugly stick was that hit that ship? If they build it, somebody will come.
