Fujimi has announced the February 2018 release a 12 piece “Operation MI Nagumo Carrier Task Force Set with Navalised Aircraft” in 1/3000 scale.
This kits represent Fujimi’s tiny renditions of the Imperial Japanese Navy’s Operation MI (Battle of Midway) carrier task force under Admiral Nagumo.

These include aircraft carriers Akagi, Kaga, Soryu and Hiryu, battleships Haruna &, Kirishima, 6 destroyers, and associated aircraft.

1/3000 is REALLY smalll... the largest capital ships are less than 3 1/2 inches in length!
