Fujimi has announced the release of FUJ40141, a tiny 1/3000 scale version of Admiral Ozawa’s fleet at the Battle of Leyte Gulf.

According to Hobbylink Japan,
“Fujimi brings us another wonderful kit in their series of 1/3000 scale naval dioramas! This time an ‘Operation Shou Ichi Go’ set which includes parts to build the Ise, Hyuga, Zuikaku, Oyodo as well as a number of Destroyers. For the Zuikaku this kit also includes a water slide decal in order to replicate the intricate camouflage colors as seen on her deck. Which is a good thing due to these ships being in 1/3000th scale that would be a difficult thing to try and paint! Also included are two blueish-green plastic panels to simulate water in the south seas as well as two green hill plastic pieces that can be placed on the edge. This kit will require paint but can be snapped together for easy construction. All ships are molded in grey plastic with the exception being the Zuikaku which is molded in light green plastic”.
The 1/3000 Operation Sho Ichi Go Set set is listed by Hobbylink Japan at https://hlj.com/product/FUJ40141 and can be preordered for ¥2,240(about US$21.00).
