Fujimi has announced the December 2019 release of FUJ40148, a tiny version of the Naval Port of Kure in 1/3000 scale as part of the “In This Corner (and Other Corners) of the World” series.

Fujimi’s little port comes with full port facilities and some of what have to be the smallest injected plastic ship models around. In addition to part of the port, the set includes the battleships Yamato, Musashi, Hyuga/Ise, the cruisers Tone/Chukuma & Aoba/Kinugasa, plus the aircraft carriers Zuikaku, Shokaku, and Zuiho.
According to Hobbylink Japan:
“Continuing their line of 1/3000 scale WWII Japanese naval bases Fujimi has now released the Kure Naval Port! Located close to Hiroshima, Kure is probably most famous for having been the location where the massive IJN Yamato battleship was built (and the location of the current Yamato museum). This kit includes one Kure Naval yard, a variety of dock buildings and nine 1/3000 scale warships including the Yamato! All parts come molded in grey plastic”.
The micro-fleet anchorage, which appears to be an expanded variant of kit FUJ40131 released in 2016, is listed by Hobbylink Japan at https://hlj.com/1-3000-scale-kure-naval-port-in-this-corner-and-other-corners-of-the-world-battleship-yamato-package-fuj40165 and can be preordered now for about US$25.00.
