Remember when we were all younger and use to play with small ships around the floor and have Naval Battles? Well if they keep putting out these great 1/350 ships we will need a football field to play Navy. That is a great looking ship. My wallet is shaking. Thanks for the photos.

I've got this one on pre-order I did it through Hobby Buy which is one of our sponsors. (that green and yellow one). The price was unbelievabale at $139 with about $9 shipping. The inital production gives you a sprue tree with 350 scale figures and a set of brass main guns. This kit is due out within the next several weeks so if you want to get a good deal on price you need to jump NOW

Great looking model, should look fantastic sitting next to the Nagato. the details look very good. Nice touch with the plastic figures, I hope this is the end of the dreaded 2D P.E. crews! Frank

It certainly looks like it. What, with Tamiya and Dragon about to release sets of 3D figures, things are looking great.

Hi Kim, are you planning on making room for the Kongo on your current display? Frank
APR 03, 2008 - 02:31 PM
Yes Frank, it will be right next to the new Akagi. I may have to wait for Aoshima to release their earlier version as the dio is set in 42', just prior to Midway.
