Interesting. I'd like to hear more about this kit when it becomes avalible. One downside I can guess at is the deck is likely smooth since the kit comes with wood deck decal. I really prefer raised lines on my carriers for the wood deck. I'm hoping the wood decal looks good to and not cartoonish These are assumptions on my part and maybe I'll be presently surprised. I'm glad Fujimi is doing this in 700 scale as well as 350.

From what i can tell from the photos it looks like a re-release of the old kit with the addition of the deck decals.I could be wrong but it looks that way to me from the arrangement of the sprues.

Dragon USA online (and im sure others) has in on pre-order... i ordered mine, very few times I preorder anything before reviews come out and price goes down ... but I really like this ship...
