Fujimi has been busy retooling a host of 1/700 World War II Imperial Japanese ships. There are aircraft carriers and battleships, aircraft carrying battleships and a couple of Pearl Harbor veterans.

Details: Fujimi's all new tooling of the IJN heavy cruiser Tone depicts the ship as it appeared during the Battle of Leyte Gulf in 1944.

1/700 IJN Battleship "Nagato" - Full Hull
Release date: January 2011
Retail price: $34.23
Details: This is Fujimi's recent all-new tooling of the Nagato, now with lower hull parts to build a full-hull model. Can still be built as a waterline model.

1/700 IJN Battleship "Ise" 1944
Release date: January 2011

Details: An all-new tooling of the aircraft-carrying battleship Ise in 1/700 scale. Builds into a waterline model. Also available separately are a photo-etched metal detail set and wooden deck set (linked below). Includes Zuiun and Suisei scout aircraft.

1/700 IJN Aircraft Carrier "Akagi"

Details: This all-new kit builds into a waterline model, with three each of Type 21 Zeroes, Type 99 Carrier Bombers, and Type 97 Carrier Attack Bombers molded in clear plastic. Hull construction features a clever internal truss system to keep it strong and straight.
