Another great detail set for 1/72nd scale U-Boat lovers L’Arsenal have recently announced an exciting new addition to their fine line of offerings for the model shipwright the 1:72 U-boat Type VIIC detail set.

This set is primarily designed for the Revell Type VIIC U-boat kitset and we understand contains many parts for the deck, kiosk, new propellers, option for a schnorchel boat, life rafts containers, etc.

It would appear to be designed for the schnorkel version, but a number of the parts are probably suitable for the early versions.

I struggle sometimes to understand why a company spends the money to tool such an aftermarket kit when the base plastic kit is no longer in production. If you want one you have to pay real packet on ebay for it, when they are there. If this their business plan....can we have some upgrades for the Airfix Vosper MTB, at least you still get these. Rant over,,,, Gary

Personally, I'm glad that l'Arsenal issued this. I had Revell U-boot laying in my stash for several years ant it seems a good time to fish it out
